Decorate with Tip and More ‣ Decorating, crafting and Inspiration

Welcome into our dining rooms, Tammy Patina and Paint and I have been spring cleaning our dining rooms. Everything has been deep cleaned, now we are decorating our rooms a bit differently. I will have Tammy’s blog post of her dining room at the end of my post. For my blog post, I wanted to change up the table’s centerpiece.

After I polished my table, I placed my macrame table runner back on the table. I found the runner years ago on Amazon.

The lighter runner help brighten up the dark color of the table and chairs.

When styling a long surface like our dining room table, it’s easy to start with a simple tray. The tray will help ground all of my decor. The tray I am using was from Kirkland’s. (It is no longer in stock).

I placed it in the center of the table, running the same direction as the runner.

I am bringing in a large vase, it has all the colors I am decorating with in our home.

When decorating a room with high ceilings and large furniture it’s best to use large decor.

This vase is perfect for the space and by adding a long stem that can spread out in different directions will help balance out the centerpiece.

I placed only one Artificial Bamboo Leaves Stem into the vase. The stem I found on Amazon.

Finishing off the tray with small decor to tie it all together. Laying a wooden bead garland on the opposite side of the tray.

Ending with a candle on a riser.

How easy was that to create? I have to admit spring cleaning takes a little longer since I like to change my decor up after cleaning, so when I can decorate with simple pieces it helps speed things along.
