Isn’t the arrangement on Tracy’s door beautiful?  It was created by  Tracy over at Tracy’s Trinket and Treasures.

Tracy’s @ Trinkets and Treasures

Here is my version.  I created more of a spring type door decor.

I had everything for my door arrangement, the basket I wanted to use and the flowers.

Until I went to the thrift store and found this little yellow purse.  I thought this would be so cute for a spring arrangement.

So I put away the wicker basket and started making my arrangement with the purse being the base.

I took some floral foam and placed it inside the purse.

For my flowers I am using.

Step one after I placed the floral foam in the purse I grabbed the daffodil bundle and spread out each stem.

I place the spread out pick inside of the purse.  I did that with the other picks, spreading them out evenly in the purse.

I took the Onion grass pick snipping each stem off the bundle.

Placing the singles pieces of onion grass into the arrangement.

The grass was too tall so I cut the onion pieces evenly with the daffodils.

I took the gypsy pick and cut all the stems off the bundle.

Placing each stem into the arrangement.

I found the little bumble bee at Dollar General.  I think he makes a cute statement on the arrangement.

I hooked his legs into the ruffle of the purse.  He is tightly placed in there.

I was going to hang the arrangement on our front door with the purse strap, but it wouldn’t hang properly.  Plan B, I cut the strap off the purse making a bow and placing it in the front center.  To keep it on the door glass I am using a suction cup hook.

I am loving the bright yellow against our black door.
