FOOT SPA GIFT BASKET

Hello everyone!   I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day and a fun weekend spending time with your family & friends.

I am so happy to join a group of sweet friends on the 10th of each month.  Each month will have a different theme.  This month is gifts for Mother’s Day, End of School, or any spring/ summer occasion.

I had to think of a gift that would work for any of the above.  I thought to myself, what is something, no matter what age, we do during the spring and summer months?  It dawned on me…we all love to wear open-toed shoes.  I decided to gather up a few things and make a foot-spa gift basket, that would work for any type of occasion.

The first thing I wanted to do is find something to keep all the items organized when not using it and would be cute as a gift basket.  I found this perfect plastic caddy at the Dollar Tree.   I filled the caddy with some white crinkle shredded paper.

I rolled up a Dollar Tree white hand towel and placed it in the smaller divider.

When I was in Dollar Tree I spotted this Amope´ Pedi Perfect Electronic nail file.  I grabbed a couple of them, I wanted one for myself and for my daughter.  I placed in the back divider.  Using the nail file helps to remove rough edges and give both fingernails and toenails a healthy shine.

I also found this Pod foot file with finishing pads it says it will help take care of the roughness and cracking around the heels of the feet.  I placed it in the back of the caddy too.

I found this cute little zipper pouch that I thought would be great to hold the Amope′ and the pads.  I tucked the pouch in the back divider in front of the other two items.

I placed a pedicure paddle in the larger front divider.  I have one and can tell you I love to keep this in my shower on a hook.  It is so easy to use while taking your shower.  To use the pedicure paddle, do a gentle back-and-forth rub with the pumice stone along rough spots, like your heels, toes and the bottoms of your feet.

I thought the hand held rolling massager would be great to use for aching feet.  Being on our feet all day, the massager can improve the blood circulation and relieve tension.  Placing this next to the paddle in the caddy.

I added a little candle to the caddy.  Candlelight is known to induce soothing, healing and peaceful energy.

I wanted to take the pedicure items out of the package.  I placed the pumice stone and brush next to the candle.

I took a piece of string and placed it on the clippers to place on the rolling massager so it wouldn’t get lost in the basket of shredded paper.

Placed the pedi separators in front of the hand towel.

Adding lotion to the caddy is a must.  I have dry skin and used a lot of different types of lotions, this Diabetics’ Foot Cream is one of the best for the price.  Sticking this in the back divider.

One last little item, I placed a bottle of LA Color nail polish #527 Delicate pink also in the basket.

To give the little caddy some style I took a pink plaid ribbon and weaved it in and out of the basket.  I made a bow tying it on the ribbon.

I made a little tag with a cute saying and placed it on the caddy.

I would love to receive this gift basket, wouldn’t you?  It’s a simple but a cute little gift to give to someone.  You don’t have to spend a lot of money to give a nice gift.  Since I knew the basket’s theme it was easy picking things up to place in the basket.
