BACK ENTRYWAY EASTER INSPIRATION

It’s important to have a festive seasonal welcome when entering our home regardless of what door they use.  Family and friends enter our home through the laundry room door so decorating this space is a must!! For the laundry room’s main wall, I decorated with bunnies and carrots.

Not only am I sharing inspiration of our laundry room decorated for Easter, but Tammy Patina and Paint will be sharing her Easter touches in her laundry room.  I will have her link at the bottom of my page.

Welcome to our back entryway in the laundry room

As I always do, remove everything and clean it good.  Here is the wall we will be decorating today.

The shelf was a DIY I created when I joined the $100 Room challenge.   So easy to do, two pieces of lumber attached together, adding trim and coat hooks.  The grid was a piece of our kitchen light fixture that broke.  I thought it fits perfect up on the shelf.  To the grid I am adding my carrot wreath I shared with you yesterday in a video.

This wreath was as easy as 1-2-3.  Add three carrots and bow to a boxwood wreath, hang it up and call it DONE!

The second simple decoration was this fern arrangement.  I placed it to one end of the shelf along with a wooden bunny and a terracotta pot of carrots.

The bunny I found in Hobby Lobby; doesn’t it make you just want to smile??

To the other side of the shelf, I added another Hobby Lobby bunny, a spindle, greenery and a sign.

I wrapped yarn around a wooden spindle to sit up on the shelf for height and color.

Below the shelf I added a Hobby Lobby Carrot Patch sign in place of my Home Sweet Home sign.

This sign fits so well with the theme, it’s the perfect sign for the space.

Adding the bench back under the shelf, this bench was another project I did in the $100 Room Challenge.

The rainboot arrangement was one of the three simple decorations.  I changed up the napkin on the boot, I like it better this way.

  1. Terrie this adorable and so happy.

Generally I’m not a cute Easter person but love the bunnies from Hobby Lobby.

Such a pretty spot. Like you most enter our laundry room.

This year I didn’t have energy to decorate it but now that I got my infusion I may add a few things.

  2. Wow! It’s amazing how just a few small changes can make such a difference in a room! I love everything about this room and I’m thinking of adding a shelf like this to my laundry room. Also, that pillow is just too darn cute! Great score in snatching your daughter’s boots. I have those napkins in pink, teal and navy and love them. Thanks for sharing your wall and all of the inspiration!

    1. I agree, a few touches make a world of a difference. I have seen your hot pink napkins, need to get more of them, they are reasonably priced so don’t know why I haven’t already. Thanks Tammy.
