SPEND 30 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS WITH TERRIE!

Hello Friends!  Welcome to the start of Spending 30 days before Christmas with Terrie!  I am so excited and hope you will be too.  I want to take you along with me on how I prepare for the Christmas holiday.  I will share with you on decorating my home, trimming our trees, Christmas DIY, how I wrap presents, my Christmas tablescapes for dinner parties and preparing for my holiday parties.  And lastly, touring our Christmas home!  It will be a full 30 days of activities that I hope I can inspire you or giving you enjoyment viewing my activities.  That’s the purpose of my blog.  So, if you see something that you want to do in your home…..YOU DO IT!  I would be honored and tickled that you like my decor that much to want it in your home!

Let me explain.  I will not be blogging every day…….I don’t want you to get tired of me!  Please! But I will do the 30 days in my normal 3 days of blogging.  So…Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s I will be updating my blog.  SO please! to make sure you don’t miss a thing go over to the right side of my page and type in your first name and email address (NEVER MISS A POST) you will get an email from me with my new day’s blog.  It is so much easier for me to have you sign up.  If not, you will have to wait until I post it on my social media.  If you don’t want to receive my emails after the holiday you can click to unsubscribe.  Which I hope you would never want to do but it is an option for you.  Anyway….I am just happy you are here!

I know that we still have Thanksgiving and I shouldn’t be decorating for Christmas before that special holiday.  I am sorry that some of you feel that way, so let me explain my reason…First off….I love Thanksgiving and I give thanks every day of my life.  I love spending time with my family and celebrating the blessings I have in my life.  I for one will always thank God for all my blessings!  I have had the scare that it all can change after one conversation.  Decorating for one holiday before the other doesn’t make me a bad person it just means that I need more time to prepare.  Second…….I love the Christmas season.  Decorating starts (for me) the second week of November.  It takes me a while to decorate my home since I do more than one room.  By the first of December all the activities start and I like to have the home decorated and ready.

As always thank you for stopping by!

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook.  And jump over on Pinterest and see what all I pin.  I would love to follow you on your journey so come find me, follow me and I will be sure to follow you back!

Don’t forget to sign up to NEVER MISS A POST.

Stay strong and stay blessed!

Terrie

  1. Terri…..I was able to get the comment to come up on my kindle. Yay…!! Hope it stays. I should already be signed up for email. I don’t like using my kindle because I don’t have my cute emoticons on it.
Thanksgiving commemorates & acknowledges how we should feel all year long. I know how much you love to decorate. It will be fun watching you fill your house with the spirit of Christmas. I know you are thankful for all your BLESSINGS…!! Christmas is a time for being thankful & remembering the true meaning of the season. I guess you will be working out of your red storage crates for while….I am ready to follow… 🙂

    1. Lucy,
Yes…..the red tubs will be in my dreams for awhile. I do love decorating our home all year around, but for Christmas it is a whole different feeling. The joy of this holiday is indescribable. Since I was a little girl I LOVED Christmas and all the decorations. I get that from my Grandfather, I guess. Thank you for following my journey. You are so sweet!
