TOP SHELF CHALLENGE- CHRISTMAS VIGNETTE

Hey there!

Welcome to another Top Shelf Challenge event!  Thank you for joining me!  I am teaming up with 2 sweet friends, Tara over from Stilettosandshiplap and Emily from LeCultivateur with our little challenge to find a $15 clearance items.  We invited 2 of our blogging friends to join the fun.  Meet Stacey over from Poofing the Pillows  and NJ from Colorfulwingsjournal. This edition will be all about Christmas.  If you missed my October’s challenge you can catch that {{HERE}}.  Refreshing the rules in case you forgot; we need to find a clearance item(s) $15 and style it in our home.  This month we will be styling our clearance item in a Christmas vignette.  I don’t have my Christmas tubs down, but I was able to grab Mr. Snowman down from the attic with ease.

My husband and myself were with a few friends shopping one day and the girls walked into a Christmas shop while the guys waited outside. 🙂  I landed Christmas picks on clearance regular price on the picks were $8.95 each and I snagged all they had for $2.99 each.  Cha ching!  They are made of a fleece type material with a little touch of glitter.  You can’t tell in this photo, but when the light hits they sparkle.

Here is how I am using my clearance items in a Christmas vignette.  I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I did while styling it! 🙂

I decided to use my picks as snowballs today.  The theme is “Let it snow”!

I pulled out my DIY framed chalkboard and wrote Let it snow with a few snowflakes.  If you haven’t seen my tutorial on how I made the chalkboard you can click {{HERE}} to view.

I grabbed my mud boots because you know when it snows you have to have the best footwear.

What better way to watch snow fall out our window while the candles are lit in a beautiful lantern?  Does this just warm your soul next to Mr. Snowman?

You have to have snowballs when it snows!   I gathered my snowballs to share with you in my best bucket.

Last but not least….When it snows you have to build a SNOWMAN!!!!

We don’t see much snow here in the south, but when we do it sure is pretty while it last.

What do you think?  Did I find the perfect clearance item to share for the Top Shelf Christmas Challenge?  I think so. 🙂

I am so happy you stopped by here today!  Make sure you jump over to my sweet friend’s home to see what type of clearance items they have to share with you.  I will lead you right to their door step.  Just click on their link and I will take you right over!
