Back from Kristin and Kaleb’s new home, we finished a couple of rooms over the weekend. The first room the master bedroom, over three months ago we (Kristin and I) started planning and plotting on how she wanted the room to be styled. I always love the challenge of creating a room for someone and then watch their face when they see it all together.
Is it complete? No, the blinds will be installed in a couple days and she hasn’t decided if she wants to leave the wall above the bed alone or add a frame. But all in all, she loves it!
Here’s a shot of their bedroom when I got there!
Master Bedroom Inspiration
For the window treatments, we went with linen rod pocket curtains, purchased on Amazon. Extra long black curtain rod was placed next to the ceiling and on the wall to outline the niche.
I used drapery rings and pins to give the curtains a faux pleat look.
The furniture they purchased Canyon Sand 5 Pc King Bedroom set from Rooms to Go.
Bedding was purchased in TJ Maxx.
On the foot of the bed we pleated the king size chunky knit blanket in oatmeal from Target.
The 8×10 area rug is a Magnolia Rug found in Home Goods.
On the nightstands, we added lamps found in Beall’s.
In the niche, we created a sitting area. Jyrin Upholstered Armchair purchased on Wayfair. Couldn’t find the Cylindrical end table to link up.
To the corner we placed the wooden DIY mirror I made for her years ago.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I created the perfect bedroom for Kristin. It feels good to start decorating her new home! Now on to the next room!

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful! I love every detail! It looks like right out of a magazine!
