Decorating the home on a budget is my thrill. I think that a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile when every time you enter your home
I have to admit that I tend to style my home as what the trend is at the time. That being said, I will not go out and buy every time I want to change my décor. I try to use what I have first, with a little paint something you have can look brand spanking new. I love “projects” and am not afraid of tackling even the most difficult projects.
Here is a little bit about me…..
- I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 34 years (yes right out of high school)
- We have 2 children – a son and daughter. Both are out on their own. My son is a math teacher. My daughter is a registered nurse.
- I work 4 days a week at an insurance company. I have worked in the insurance business for over 30 years.
- Decorating and arranging a home for myself or others brings me joy.
I can’t imagine life without Google, Pinterest, Instagram and even you tube. That is where I spend my spare time searching for ideas or more “projects” to work on. My nickname should be DIYer, I love the challenge of doing something for myself instead of hiring it done. Lucky for me my husband is a good sport and helps when I do need someone’s help.
The reason I started this blog was to share my journey of creating, crafting and decorating in hopes to inspire you to create something for yourself.
