Decorating our home for Christmas is a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit by transforming the inside and outside of our homes into a festive holiday wonderland.
Kicking off our Decorate with Us Christmas Season 2024 in the front entryway. Joining me today Tammy Patina and Paint and Teresa Through a Vintage Door. I will have their entryway decorated for Christmas at the end of my blog post.
Above is my mood board of what I want to decorate in our foyer. I find it very helpful to plan a head on what I want my foyer to look like and the items I want to use before I start decorating that day.
Planning allows me to prepare on things I need to gather, create or buy. After I have the things I want to decorate with, it’s time to take it to the space and decorate! Today is the day.
I placed a Norfolk garland from Kirkland’s on top of the mirror. Also added battery operated lights to give it a little glow.
I made the little ornament garland to add color to the mirror.
To the top of my table, I placed my little Walmart nutcracker DIY arrangement.
A little change to my arrangement, the nutcracker ribbon came in so I added that to the bow and I placed a taller white village piece.
To the other side I added a vase full of Kirkland’s Norfolk stems and a lighted branch.
Sat another white piece of my thrift store village next to the vase.
Moving down to the cubbies of my cabinet, I place more white pieces.
To the bottom of my cabinet, keeping the basket trunk with a red plaid material tucking out.
A little secret, the red plaid piece is a king size pillow sham. 🙂
To the other side I placed larger ornaments in a wire basket.
I hope you enjoyed my foyer cabinet area decorated for Christmas.
I have a video for you to watch of me decorating the foyer.

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
