Stopping just for a quick second from decorating the inside of my home to go outside and decorate the outside of our home while the weather is cooperating. First I need to make a front door wreath.

My wreath inspiration was this wooden sign from the Dollar Tree. I knew right when I spotted it I wanted to make a front door wreath with it. So I grabbed the sign and a few other things I needed for the wreath and went to work creating. Without further ado, here is my tutorial on how I created my Christmas front door wreath. Maybe you bought the same sign or another styled sign and hadn’t done anything with it yet. You can make a wreath out of it like I did! 🙂
Here are the items you will need to make your own wreath:
- 18 inch Grapevine wreath
- evergreen garland
- 3 small Christmas picks with red berries and poinsettias
- 3 white flower picks
- 7 red berry picks
- 3 red Christmas ornament balls
- wooden sign
- 2 different pattern wire ribbons
- floral wire
- wire cutters
- scissors
Taking my grapevine wreath and the greenery arranging it to one side of the wreath.
I secured it with floral wire by wrapping the wire around the greenery and grapevine wreath.
Fluffed the greenery.
I am using two different ribbons. Take your ribbon and make a bow out of each one. If you need to see my tutorial on how I made my bows you can go {{HERE}}.
I placed the bows to the center of the greenery with the floral wire.
Taking the three Christmas picks removing the tags
I poked the stems inside the grapevine
I placed two above the bow and one at the bottom.
Taking the two white flower bundle
I snipped off each stem with my wire cutters.
Placing them randomly in the grapevine.
I took the red berry pieces and added them randomly to the wreath.
I am using 3 red ornaments
I wrapped floral wire around the top and secured them in the grapevine wreath.
I love this Dollar Tree sign.
I cut the twine off of the sign
Taking the floral wire, threading it through the holes where the twine once was, I wrapped the wire around the wreath on each side.
Doesn’t it look adorable on my wreath?
I placed it on the glass door with a suction cup hook.
I will be showing you our full Christmas porch soon. I need to get back into the house to finish decorating! 🙂
Don’t forget to take a peek at all the rest of my friends blogs and their Christmas Porches! There will be plenty inspiration for you to absorb during this blog hop. You will love the ideas! Next up is Amber Follow The Yellow Brick Home.
