Happy Thanksgiving my friend!
It’s time for another monthly Creative Craft hop, this month we have a small crafter’s group, but still some great crafts to share with you. A special thanks to Sara, Birdz of a Feather for hosting the craft hop. At the bottom of my page, I will share each participant’s link to their craft.

Today, I am working on two candle holders my daughter purchased in Kirkland’s many years ago, she no longer wanted them so I kept them. It’s time to bring them down from the attic and give them some Christmas love.
Supplies I had on hand to add to the Kirkland’s candle holder:
- piece of garland
- flocked pick
- a single berry pick
- ribbon
- candle
How to add Christmas to a Candle Holder
I took a piece of garland, making sure it was long enough to go from the top of the candleholder to the bottom. I attached the garland to the candle holder by wrapping the branches to the top and bottom part of the candle holder.
Like everything else, it’s time to fluff! I always say, FLUFFY IS EVERYTHING!!
Like night and day!
I added flock greenery and a piece of berry pick to enhance the garland. I cut the twigs off the bundle and placed them inside the garland on the candle holder.
Adding a shoe string bow to the top of the candle holder leaving the tails of the bow long to hang down the candle holder.
To finish, I added a red with gold swirl candle to the glass candle holder.
I did the same thing to the shorter candle holder.
Thanks for stopping by while I make decorations for my fireplace hearth. I am so happy with how these turned out, so easy too! I will be showing you how I styled the fireplace next week.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!!

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
