This year I am decorating the kitchen in blues and reds. It was so fun grabbing all my blue and white dishes to decorate with red. Below, I will give you a close look at all the decorations I used on my hutch this Christmas season.
The inspiration for the hutch was my blue and white dishes. I love the pop of red with them.
The white houses are my thrift store find Christmas villages, I took White Rust-oleum spray paint to change the color of the houses.
To create red vases to place on the bottom shelf, I took two Dollar Tree vases I had up in the attic and painted the inner part of the vases with Cardinal Red Apple Barrel paint. I added blue and white buffalo plaid ribbon along with a Christmas pick to the neck of the vase. They turned out pretty darn cute, don’t you think?
I decorated with things I had on hand, the only thing I did purchase this year was the two wooden Christmas trees from Hobby Lobby.
I keep love using my tray with every hutch season, I guess you can say it’s my staple piece here on my hutch. Even though it’s the same piece changing what’s inside gives the tray a whole new look.
Thanks for stopping by and joining Decorate with me |Christmas hutch.
I have linked as much as I could with similar items I used on my hutch below.

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
