LITTLE BOY’S BEDROOM

When it came to decorating Myles’ bedroom in Kristin’s new home, if you remember we gave his old bedroom a new look last year, Kristin decided to keep the look for his room the same.

Last March I shared his bedroom on my Facebook page.  If you want to take a look at the BEFORE and AFTER, click here → BEDROOM MAKEOVER FOR MYLES.

I’m sharing all the things in his room from wallpaper, to curtains, to bedding and things we did to keep his room clutter-free. Hopefully, I’ll answer some of your questions while sharing his room.

For the back wall, we applied NextWall Stacy Garcia Home Stacks Faux Peel and Stick Wallpaper (Denim Blue)  It has the look of true shiplap, very easy to apply to the wall.  We attached his wood name cut out over the bed.

Since there is only one window, we centered the bed on the wall, placed both nightstands to each side of the bed.  The nightstand against the wall we added a plug-in wall sconce.

To the window, we placed black lined drapes pulled to the side.  This allows the eye to flow from corner to corner.

Decorating in navy and brown theme allows the room to grow as he does.  Bedding is a plain navy duvet set, accent pillow; three leather 24 x 24 euro pillow shams, two grey 20×20 velvet pillows and one oblong complimentary pillow to tie it all together.  As you can tell Myles is in love with Sonic.

Here are a few more photos of his room, keeping it flexible for a growing toddler.

Moving on to another room in their home.  Can’t wait to see how Myles likes his new room.
