Welcome to our everyday kitchen, Tammy Patina and Paint and myself decorated our kitchen for an everyday style all last week, today we are going to give you a tour of the kitchen.

Everyday Kitchen Decor

Last week we kicked off with the plan and next was the table area.

I kept to the color palette in mind when planning the decorations for the hutch.  When I found the canvas, it fit the bill!

To the table, I kept it very simple.  I painted the bottom of a glass thrift store vase and place two bundles of purple flowers inside it.

To every place setting I sat a wicker placemats and called it done.

After the hutch and table, I went over to the opposite side of the hutch to the bench and tray tower.

The bench and window are always fun to decorate for different seasons.

Loving the tray tower, I purchased in Hobby Lobby.  To keep the decor piece flowing I decorated the trays with similar items I decorated on the hutch.

I love all the different spaces in the table area I can decorate for seasonal fun.

Cabinet and countertop area was up next, first I painted the grout lines.

I kept all the items we use on a daily basis out on the counters.  There is no reason for my kitchen to have tons of nonuse appliances left out on the counters.

The Keurig serves each morning for the one cup of coffee Mr. Tip has.  To keep tea bags and sweet-in-low packages close I placed them in canisters next to the Keurig.

I made sure we had plenty of prepping space for us to prepare our meals.

I do use my Kitchen Aid mixer, maybe not on a daily basis but enough to keep it out on the counter, along with wooden utensils we use on a daily basis.

3 main cooking supplies are out in glass canisters and to the corner I placed a small lamp for a nice soft light at night.

I did style more decorations than function to the long area of the countertops.  I love how pretty this space looks.

I have to say, I wasn’t for sure if I could blend the kitchen with the family room, but I think I did a pretty good job.  What do you think?
