DIY FAUX TREE FOR INDOORS – PLANTER MAKEOVER

I am going to share another faux tree with you today!  In the family room, I have a floor planter with an arrangement inside.

The arrangement has been in the spot for way too long, it’s time to give it a new look.

I took all the stems out of the planter, I noticed the planter needed a change as well.

Took the planter out of the stand, I’m giving it two coats of flat black spray paint.

While the stand was drying, I painted the planter with texture paint and a faux concrete look.

Added the planter back into the stand and add two branches.

Instead of an arrangement in the planter I am going to use seven  Willow Eucalyptus Spray to create a tree.  I drilled holes in the branches, added E6000 to the end of the stem and poked the glued stems in the hole.

To cover the foam I used hot glue and moss.

To read more on how to create a faux tree, you can check out my previous blog post on a Faux Cherry Tree Branch Blossom.  I did the same thing for my Willow Eucalyptus tree.

Have fun making a tree for your home.  If you do, please leave me a comment on how it turned out and if you found an easier way to make it.
