Hello everyone! If you have been with me awhile you know I love to do DIYs using Dollar Tree items, well today I am doing a DIY with some Dollar General items.
Let’s get started!
Here are the items I used to make my Easter Sign
- Letter from Dollar General – LETTERS
- Decorative Cross from Dollar General – CROSS
- 8″ x 31″ piece of wood
- 1¹⁄²” piece of pine flat moulding –PINE MOULDING (Cut the pine trim – Two 31 inch pieces and two 8 ¾”)
- Dark brown and white chalk paint
- Power Grip or Wood Glue
- Small nails and hammer
- Saw tooth picture hanger – SAWTOOTH HANGER
Taking the 8″x 31″ piece of board and painting it white.
Take the trim pieces and the letters and paint dark brown.
Framing your board. I am using small nails.
Attaching the longer pieces to the top and bottom of the board and then both of the sides.
Taking the decorative cross removing the stand at the bottom. I just wriggled and pulled it apart.
Taking your letters and cross, centering and gluing onto the framed board. I am using my trusty little Power grip.
Once you have your letters centered, trace lightly around your letter.
Remove each of the letters one at a time, apply the glue and placing back on to the board where you outlined the letter.
Adding the sawtooth picture hangers on the back.
And that’s how we can make an easy Farmhouse Easter Sign.
