Take the bunny headband and remove the material off of it. Very easy, I snipped the ends and just cut it off the plastic base.
I snipped off the headband on both sides.
Taking the ears and burlap material. You will want to cut 4 ears out of the material. I traced around the ear onto my material. Cut the ears out.
Taking the plastic ear base and sitting it on one single ear. Place a little glue on the back of the ear base to attach the burlap. (I am using something underneath my ears so the hot glue will not get on my work area).
Now apply hot glue to the ear base.
I took a plastic grocery bag, cutting it in half. Using one half of the bag folding it into the shape of an ear and placing it on top of the glued base.
Take the other burlap ear piece and apply glue around the outer edge.
Attach it to the base on top of the bag. I did have to glue some parts together that didn’t attached. Fray the ends and trim around the edges.
Do the same steps for the other ear.
I wrapped twine around the headband to hide the plastic.
Taking a long stick or pick, (I am using the card holder that came with my plant) using floral wire attach the ears to the pick.
Placing it in your plant.
Making a bow out of wired burlap ribbon, you can make your own pom pom or use the Dollar Tree bunny tail. (You can check out my tutorial on how I make my pom pom HERE).
Reminds me of a little curious bunny. 🙂
