Welcome to our Creative Craft hop for February 2024, I want to mention, Sara Birdz of a Feather and Donna Modern on Monticello they both are the master minds for the monthly blog hop, they both do a fantastic job gathering up talented crafters to provide you inspiration. This month we have 11 crafters again sharing step by step creative crafts with you, at the bottom of my page, I will share each participant’s link to their craft.
To view all of my creative crafts you can view it here CREATIVE CRAFT.
This Easter craft I am sharing is all about simple, so without further ado let’s get started with my creative craft. I shopped in Dollar Tree for all the supplies I needed.
Supplies:
- Different size terracotta pots. Ideally you need three different sizes, as you can see it works with only two as well.
- One bundle of Fern & Spider Plant
- Faux grass or Spanish Moss
- Ribbon of your choice
- Floral foam
Tools:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
Dollar Tree Terracotta Carrot Tutorial
I am using two terracotta pot, you could use as many and as large pots as you want.
Hot glue around the bottom of the larger pot.
Place it into the top of the smaller pot.
Keep following the two steps for more pots.
Take a piece of floral form and place it in the top pot.
Poke the stem of the fern bundle in the center of the foam.
Glue faux grass or Spanish moss over the foam.
Grab your ribbon and make a messy bow or your favorite type of bow. I am using a burlap netting ribbon, green burlap, raffia, orange and white check bow.
The bow is the cherry on the sundae, don’t you think?
I love how easy this craft was to make and how cute they are. If you like how my carrot turned out let me know in the comments!
