FALL TOBACCO WALL POCKET BASKET

Hey there!  Welcome to Decorate and More with Tip!  If you have been follow me on Facebook, you will know about my problem on finding something to complete my basket wall display.  I finally think I found it!

Looking for something to add on the basket wall I stumbled across tobacco pocket baskets.  Now to come up with something to place inside the pockets.

I purchased an arrangement from Kirkland’s that would be perfect to place in the larger basket.  Lambs Ear and Plaid Pumpkin Floral Arrangement.  I love the navy and orange plaid pumpkin.  Anything with Lamb’s ear is always a favorite of mine. 🙂

The arrangement would fit if I placed it on it’s side.  By doing this I would need to reposition the pumpkins.

For the smaller pocket I am going to make something similar to the Kirkland’s arrangement.  Taking a closer look at the arrangement, it has a plaid pumpkin, two white pumpkins, pomegranate picks and greenery.  Looks like I will be painting a few thing I have.

Taking two faux pumpkins painting the smaller with Waverly Plaster chalk paint.

I am not being particular on drawing the lines on the pumpkin.  Free handing the horizontal and vertical lines of orange and blue with a very thin line of brown.  I dry brushed white all over the pumpkin and painted the stem gold.

Looking through all my stems and picks I didn’t have anything with pomegranates, I grabbed some green faux Dollar Tree berries and painted them to mimic the look.

I placed floral foam inside the pocket to create my arrangement.

I placed all the greenery and pumpkins into the foam arranging it until I liked how it looked.

Now the baskets are all decorated I placed them back up on the wall.

To complete my Fall decorations on the wall I added a few more touches of Fall to the other baskets.

The Harvest Blessings was purchased from Hobby Lobby.  I love the beaded handle and the saying on the sign.  Here is the link to the sign → Harvest Blessings Beaded Wood Decor.

In the center of my largest basket I placed a frame from Kirkland’s.  Here is the link to the frame → Gather and Be Grateful Frame.

First day of Fall and our home is starting to feel the season.  How about you, have you started decorating for the Fall season?
