I am so excited to finally have our guest bathroom finished! I can say this project was a test of my patience. Ordering online is an easy way to shop, but when it comes to a mix up with your order not once but twice it becomes a hassle. Amazon makes it easy to return items but having to wait between deliveries isn’t for a NEED IT NOW type of person.
Come on in, let me show you how it turned out!
I have to say, working with power tools the last couple of rooms makes me feel powerful. Seriously, I love how simple projects are when you have the proper tools.
First project was removing the large mirror and adding vertical shiplap to the wall.
Once the wall was finished it was time to add the mirror I purchased on Kirkland’s website.
Once I had the mirror up, I decided the vanity looks great as is.
I did change the handles with wooden handles I found on Amazon.
The third shower curtain I ordered was a keeper, I was hoping for a shower curtain with a pattern, but the linen curtain work great.
I also gave my white shelves a new look with paint.
To the long wall I kept it simple since the door sings open toward the wall.
I used rattan baskets to add warmth to the room. (Rattan round tray – Rattan paper towel tray – Paper towels – Rattan vanity tray).
I am putting away my power tools until after the holidays, then I will start back at it again in the other guest bedroom, which is now taken over by Ms. Kehlani. We are going to make it a little girl’s room again. It once was her Mommie’s room when she was little.
Thanks for stopping by and touring our guest bathroom. I hope I inspired you by something I did or placed in the room.

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
