MY FAVORITES FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY

Hello Friends!  Hope you are doing great!

I don’t know about you, but when I find something I enjoy using around my home I just love to share it with everyone.  I love my home and appreciate everything that makes our home ours!

Today’s blog is about what I am loving around my home right now.  I wanted to share these things with you because maybe something that I am loving or using you might want to try or buy it for yourself.

Let’s get started!

My favorite in home cleaning –

I am loving my diffusers.  I have two, one in the kitchen and one in our bedroom.

If you have been following me, you know that I love to use lemon oil in the kitchen.  With everything closed up for the winter, using the lemon oil helps bring a little freshness in the air.

For the bedroom, we run it only at night.  I mix a couple of essential oils together to make a breathe blend oil to help remove toxins from the air.  With cold and flu season we need all the help we can get.  I place 5 drops of the blend mixture in the water of the diffuser and run it as we sleep.

I have been using both diffusers for a while now.

In the photo I am showing you two essential oils that I use.  Lemon oil and the Breathe Blend.  I have used all the Breathe Blend up so now I mix oils together and store it in this bottle.

If you want to make the oils for your own breathe blend mixture, below I have the oils and amount I mix together.

Breathe Blend (single time dose)

  • 2 drops of Eucalyptus
  • 1 drop of Peppermint
  • 1 drop of Orange
  • 1 drop of Lemon

Here is another that helps with sinus issues.

Clear Sinuses (single time dose)

  • 2 drops of Eucalyptus
  • 2 drops of Peppermint
  • 2 drops of Tea Tree

I have listed the site where you can find the two diffusers that I have – HERE & HERE  If you are interested.

My favorite home decor piece –

The piece that I am loving right now is my balancing scale.  I have been on the hunt for this scale for my home.  I just couldn’t justify spending that much for a decor piece, but we had ordered a couple of things on Amazon to where we had received Amazon bonus points.  After using the points I walked away only spending $39 for this scale.  I love the look of this scale on my dining room table.  I placed two Dollar Tree glass cylinders, candle and some greenery to each side.  I am still using the garden pots with the topiary balls for now.  Have you notice my table runner?  This is my DIY burlap table runner.  I love it!  If you haven’t been over to see how I made this you can go HERE to see how easy it was to make it!

If you are interested in ordering one of these scales for yourself you can find it HERE!  Target also has one HERE!

My favorite home organization –

I am still in love with my cabinet under the kitchen sink.  I have shared how I organized the cabinet with you just recently, if you have not seen my post, you can see it HERE.  I am so happy how functional my cabinet is.  I love the stack-able drawer and my little cleaning caddie. Everything about this cabinet makes me happy!

Here is the link to the stack-able drawer piece – HERE and a cleaning caddie, different in color, but similar to the one I have – HERE.

My favorite DIY –

My favorite DIY has to be my lap table.  I know this DIY was back in November, but recently I have been using the table every night while working on the laptop.  I never really knew just how much looking down at the screen was affecting my neck issues.  Since using it, it has helped.  It keeps the screen at eye level.  It was such an easy DIY.  If you haven’t seen the blog on how I made this you can go HERE.

If you are on your laptop like I am….a lot, you might want to consider using something to help with your posture.  This DIY would be beneficial to you!

My favorite Blog –

I liked them all, but the Tips On Keeping Your Kitchen Shining Between Cleanings would be the one I enjoyed working on.  This probably was the easiest to write.  It came to me one night while I was cleaning after dinner.  It received a large amount of likes, shares and the most viewed except my Valentine’s Blog Hop (it was by far the most viewed blog) that was an awesome blog also.  Thank you!

These are my favorites for the month of February in my home.  I hope you found something that I shared to inspire you or helped you around your home.

I am so glad that you stopped by to visit me today.  I would love to hear what you have been enjoying around your home.

As always follow me on Instagram and Facebook.  And jump over on Pinterest and see what inspirations I have pinned.

Stay Strong and Stay Blessed!
