Hey there, if you are coming over from Cindy, Cloches and Lavender welcome to Decorate and More with Tip! I am sure you were very inspired with Cindy’s home and all of her decorations. Today, is the first Blogger’s Seasonal Inspiration hop. Cindy and myself decided to gather up a few friends to share some inspiration, what better way to get a full dose of inspiration than a great blog hop? I will have all of our friend’s blog links at the bottom of my page.
To be honest, for today’s blog I was going to decorate and inspire you with my Easter decorations, but I found some Forsythia stems while gathering my Easter decorations and changed my mind. I will still share my Easter wreath with you on a later blog! Here’s a sneak peak.

DIY FORSYTHIA WREATH
I usually hang a pretty wreath on the old bi-fold door in the family room. This Spring I decided to use the Forsythia stems I found at Dollar Tree last year, they will make a beautiful Spring wreath.
I shared a video tutorial as well. You can click here to view that → EASY SPRING WREATH TUTORIAL.
I am taking the 5 Dollar Tree Forsythia stems snipping the stems into 2 pieces. I snipped the top piece at the bottom to create a stem to poke into the wreath, which gave me a small piece to use as a filler.
I am using a sunburst grapevine wreath I found at a thrift store for the base of my wreath.
Placing the stems into the wreath by poking them securely into the wreath. I don’t use hot glue to the stems, only because I like reusing the wreath. I did hear you can use a hair dryer to soften up the glue to remove the picks. I have no problem with my stems falling out so I don’t glue them in.
I continue adding the stems into the wreath.
I love the airy look of the wreath.
I placed the wreath on the bi-fold door until I change it up with an Easter wreath. 🙂

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
