Hey there! Do you have a misfit Christmas decoration sitting in a box or tub just waiting for the day when it can be displayed again? Maybe I can inspire you to bring it out and give it a makeover. Like most of my blogs I like to revamp things I already have. What better way to save a few bucks, right?
I had this arrangement for several years. It is still in great shape even though it’s missing the flowers, I pulled out the flowers a couple of years ago. 🙁 Today is the day when I take it out of the tub and make it work for my Christmas home again.

I took a plastic grocery bag and wrapped up all the greenery.
Taking the Rose Gold craft paint giving it two coats.
I painted two coats with white craft paint. Distressing it a bit with 150 grit sand paper.
I removed the bag and thought to myself, it looks good, but it’s still not grabbing me.
I stuck a couple of copper mini ornaments inside the opening of the holder. I wanted one large ornament but it wouldn’t fit between the spindles. 🙁 It looks good with the mini ornaments, doesn’t it?
I found a copper candle on a clearance shelf at Old Time Pottery for 74¢. Perfect to place on top of my makeover candle arrangement.
What do you think? Doesn’t it look better with it’s new distressed look?
I just love how it looks now.
Thank you again! Stay strong and stay blessed!
