Today we will be styling our coffee tables.  I have a few tips I do to help me style our coffee table, maybe my tips will help you as well.

Before I get started on the coffee table, I placed the new area rug we purchased on Amazon under the table.

Now that I have the rug in place it’s time to decorate the coffee table.

First tip when decorating your coffee table is to use decor pieces that match the room it sits in.  Your space needs to keep the eye flowing from piece to piece.

Second tip

Make sure you style your coffee table with different heights.  I always decorate my table in a triangle.  With the plant being the tallest tapering down to the beads sitting in the wooden bowl.

Third tip

Creating a warm and inviting setting by using candlelight.  The two candle holders are a staple piece on our coffee table.

My favorite candles are the ones found on Amazon.

Tip four

Keep the shape of your coffee table in mind when choosing the items you place on it.  You want to keep with the same shaped items as your coffee table, not all items but a couple of them.  Keeping with the same shape will balance your setting.  As you can see I used a round container, round candleholders and round beaded garland.  I did use a rectangular wooden bowl to give it a different dimension.

Last tip

Use different textures, having textures also can give the setting a warm and cozy factor.  The greenery, glass beads and the wooden dough bowl, all gives an inviting glow.
