Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I shared a Dollar Tree craft. Yesterday I shared my hutch styled for a Vintage Valentine’s Day Blog Hop, if you have not seen that go check it out! You can catch up here⇒BINGO Vintage Valentine’s Hutch.
Have you started decorating for Valentine’s yet? Or do you decorate for this occasion? Last year I was in a Valentine’s home hop and did my kitchen and fireplace. If you missed that you can take the tour Valentine’s Decor Blog Hop. Today, I am sharing a simple Valentine’s styled tablescape. I did change up my hutch a bit. Before I share my table let’s get started with the DIY tealight holder.

Here are all the supplies I used:
- 4 Dollar Tree Luminessence Tealight Holder
- 4 Dollar Tree Glittery Foam Heart Picks
- 4 Dollar Tree white Votive candles
- Ribbon of your choice
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Black craft paint and paint brush
Taking the four heart picks and pushing each pick through the heart carefully.
I took the heart off the pick and cut four 3 inch sections from the picks.
Using my black chalk paint I painted the pieces black
Placing the hearts to the painted sticks.
Placing the heart pick into the tealight. I added a little hot glue to the bottom and the top of the fancy part of the tealight.
After I had the pick in place I moved the heart to it’s position and dabbed a little hot glue at the bottom of the heart to keep it in place.
I tied a bow around the tealight.
That’s it! Aren’t they cute? Here is one more quick little DIY that I placed on my table also.
I purchased 4 wooden craft hearts and painted them black. I stenciled LOVE on it with white chalk paint.
Here is my Simple Valentine’s Tablescape.
Let me share a little trick I did on my planter with the roses. I didn’t want to paint my every day piece, which is normally a taupe base. I cut an old sock and slipped the sock onto the bottom of my planter.. Could you tell?

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
