Welcome back to our Creative Craft Blog Hop, it has been a while since our last one. Thanks to Sara, Birdz of a Feather for being our sweet host each month. The bottom of my page, I will share each participant’s link to their craft.
I am jumping right into Easter for my craft today!
Easter Riser DIY
I had a bunny wreath form, a wooden round cut out and 4 wooden caps in my craft closet, so I am ready to go!
The round wood cut out is the perfect size but not the right thickness.
Using a jigsaw, I cut out another circle, I was careful to stay on the line but still the shape was horrible, I decided to use the thinner circle on top to camouflage the bad shape of mine.
I removed the inner two wires from the bunny form with my wire cutters.
I snipped the bottom part of the form.
Using a drill bit the size of the wire, drilled two holes across from one another.
Bent the two ends of the wire.
Creating a riser, I glued 4 wooden tabs to the bottom of the circle.
Filling in the gap of the two circles with wood filler.
Painted the riser with Behr paint in the color platinum, two coats.
Wrapped the wire with white yarn, painted the white yarn with the platinum paint.
Adding embellishment to the bunny ears.
I applied E6000 inside the drilled holes, stuck in the bent part of the form into the drilled holes.
Look how cute!
Styling will be fun! I hope I inspired you in making one.

Your Easter riser is very unique and pretty! The ribbon, flowers, and foliage colors look so good together. Your DIY home decor always turns out great!
Thank you so much Allyson, I appreciate it!
What a cute idea, Terrie! I love dollar store crafts and you’ve taken this one next level–pinned! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
Aw, thanks Cecilia.
This is ingenious and so cute. I love risers and have several but never thought of making one that would be tall. Pinning and hopefully I can mimic it before Easter.
Thanks for pinning my craft today. Have fun creating with us Leanna.
I had to Pin this one! Such a creative way to reuse a wreath form and make a centerpiece at the same time. So glad you shared the idea.
Thanks Donna, glad you like how the riser turned out. I love how easy it will be to remove the ears and use the riser for every day.
Your Easter riser is quite creative and unique, Terrie! I love it! And it makes for a lovely centerpiece, too! I can think of so many ways to style this!
I really like how this looks and can’t wait to style it this Easter season. Thanks Gail.
Your riser is just fantastic Terrie. So creative!
Aw, thanks Sara. I do like how it turned out and will be able to use it throughout the year by just removing the ears.
That is adorable, Terri! I never would have thought to use the bunny wreath form this way. So clever!
Glad you like how I created the bunny riser. Thanks Ann, so fun working with you in the hop!
