Hello Friends!  Welcome back to all of my Decorate & More friends!  If you are visiting for the first time thank you so much I hope you will continue to come visit me.

I am still in shock with the Las Vegas shooting that happened last Sunday night. I just can’t understand why someone would do such a thing.  I pray not only for the victims, but the family of the shooter.  What they must be going through would be such an awful position to be in.  They are not only dealing with a death in their family but a family member that cause such a dreadful act.  I wonder if we will ever understand why he did what he did?  It is just so unbelievable.  My heart just goes out to all involved. I know I should be more in tune with the world and what’s going on around me, but I just don’t like watching the news.  It works me up and it frightens me.  I just want to go on with blinders on.  Are you more like me when it comes to the blinders?

How have you been this week?  I have been enjoying myself with my family.  It has been beautiful weather and I am getting a lot of relaxation (and too much sun).  We are planning a yard sale so I really need to be rested up because it is hard work getting ready for a yard sale.  It isn’t a fun process but visiting with the people that come by to shop is always fun.

One thing I have noticed while giving you the tour of our home is that the trim in the house really needs painted.  I will have to add that to my list before the holiday decorating begins.  We have white trim all throughout our home.  I love having the white trim but I also like it to stay crisp and clean.  To keep that look I tend to paint it once a year.  Crazy I know!

Today is a blog home tour.  We are going to be touring the little back hall space and half bathroom of our home.  These two rooms are very small. When I say small, I mean turn around and you saw it small.  This tour will consist of all photos.  If you have any question please email me HERE  and I will get back with you with your answer as quick as possible.

Let me explain the first few photos.  It is a room that our guest goes through to get to the half bath and it is the space from entering the house from the garage.  I don’t actually know what to call it.  It really isn’t a hallway but not a foyer either. I would love to have something in this space, but it is right in the walk way and couldn’t sit out very far from the wall.  What would you do to this space to make it dressed up or would you leave it like it is?  Let me know in the comments below.

Told you it was small.  I would love to brighten the room up.  Maybe that will be a project down the road.  I have been thinking about painting the cabinet and placing something on the mirror wall to make it a statement wall.  I like the room as is, I just don’t love it.
