Today’s DIY is making a Christmas Ball. It is so easy and cute I had to share it with you today! 🙂
You can hang it, sit it or place it on a pedestal. Look how cute!

Here how easy it is to make.
Supplies you will need:
- greenery or moss
- styrofoam sphere
- hot glue
- ribbon
- embellishments (optional)
I am using an old Christmas tree branch. You can purchase a bag of moss and glue it onto the ball.
I cut little pieces from my branch.
The branch has a wire which I just stick the pieces to the ball.
I keep poking the pieces into the ball.
It doesn’t take long to cover the ball.
Once you have your ball covered take your ribbon and decorate it the way you like.
I cut 4 streamers and used floral wire to form a pick and stuck it into the ball. Made a bow and added a pine cone and some gold berries. You can hot glue it to the ball if you would like. I used the floral wire and poke it into the ball.
This is so cute. I had all the supplies here at the house, you can buy all the supplies less than $3 which is a lot cheaper than buying a topiary ball. For my friends that want to buy one instead of making one here is one similar on Amazon, 4″ Christmas Kissing ball.
Thank you again! Stay strong and stay blessed!

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
