The paint brush hasn’t even dried from painting the bedroom furniture and here I am planning the next project …
If you weren’t following me when I did the $100 Room Challenge – Laundry Room back in 2020 you would have missed our laundry room makeover.
No, I’m not rolling up my sleeves to jump into this project. I still have to grab some inspiration, but I do have a few things in mind I want to share with you.
Recently, I was asked to review wallpaper from Chesapeake on Amazon. After looking at all their wallpaper I chose the Twain Plaid Wallpaper in the color Dove. By the online photos, I liked the classic look of the plaid pattern. The buffalo plaid wall still looks good, but thought the twain plaid might be a better fit for the laundry room.
I know one thing leads to another, this is why I won’t be starting the laundry room project until I get all my ideas in order. So far, I have some items in mind, add a washer and dryer countertop, change the light fixture, change out the rug, paint the cabinets and customize the bench wall. WHEW! That does sound like a lot, but honestly it isn’t that much work, just a lot of time.
Here is what my mind is thinking right now, but things might change as I dig to find inspiration.
I will keep you updated on the laundry room and how the planning is going. In the meantime, make sure you subscribe to my blog so you won’t miss any of my projects!

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
I have always wanted a laundry room to decorate, but alas, I have a laundry “nook”. (: I will be eagerly waiting to see your room!
Terrie I love the wallpaper! I can’t wait to see your laundry room put together! It’s going to be fabulous.
