Most of my bedroom Christmas trees are 6 foot trees, which works fine for the guest bedrooms but for our Master bedroom it doesn’t seem to fit the room. I just can’t seem to let myself spend the money to go buy a taller tree. I was thinking what I can do to make my 6 foot tree fit properly. I think I got it figured out!
Here is what my Christmas tree looked like last year at Christmas.
I think it needs to be taller, don’t you? Here is what I am going to do to make the same tree look taller.
I brought in one of my patio tables from our back porch and placed my tree on top of it.
Taking two 6 foot Christmas garlands. (You can purchase them at any department stores). I attached the garland to the bottom branches of my tree. I started at one end of the garland and attached it to the back lowest branch draping it the length I wanted and attaching it to the next branch.
I attached the garland to the tree by just twisting two stems together, one stem from the branch to one stem from the garland.
I kept attaching and draping until I had all the lower branches attached to the garland. I fluffed all the garland to fill in all the gaps. Twisting fingers to each other to close the gap.
Doesn’t that look like a taller tree?
I added lights to the garland.
Thank you again! Stay strong and stay blessed!
