REVAMPING AN OLD PUMPKIN PLANTER

Hey y’all!

Today I am sharing with you my little pumpkin planter I purchased years ago.  I order this  from a place called ABC Distributors.  Now it is called LTD commodities.  You can go HERE to check out their site.  They don’t have it in stock, but I will give you another option later down in my blog.

I want to change the color to a white and copper pumpkin cart.  I took the wheels and handle off of my planter and spray painted it a copper color.

Grabbed my white chalk and brush I will paint the whole pumpkin white.

I painted just one coat.  I want a little color to bleed through.

I grabbed my copper bronze color paint and started highlighted the lines.  I also colored the trunk and leaves the copper bronze.

I added paint along the lines and then gently wiped it away with a damp paper towel.

I added some dry brushing to sections of the pumpkin.

Placed the wheels and the handle back on.

I found one not exactly like the one I have but close.  You can purchase a little pumpkin cart for your fall decorations from Kirkland’s HERE.

Just a little paint and some time can make something old come back to life.  I never seem to get tired of painting.  Next fall you never know I might just paint this another color.  One great thing about paint…..you can make something fun and exciting by just giving it a new color!

If you like my pumpkin revamp please click the LIKE button and SHARE it with your social media friends!  You can pin this to your PINTEREST page to save in case you want to paint something you have similar to what I just did.  The buttons you need to click are at the bottom of my page.  I would love for you to be part of my family so follow me on all my social media.  Facebook HERE – Instagram HERE and Pinterest HERE.  Come by and say Hey!

Thank you again for coming by and spending some time with me!

Stay strong and stay blessed!
