Can it be the 10th of the month already?  What a fun day it’s going to be. today on Under $10 on the 10th hop we are sharing how you can create something under $10 for Easter.   The blog hop is hosted each month by Tammy over at Patina and Paint, at the bottom of my page I will have all the blogger’s Easter project linked for you.

My Easter craft is the easiest thing every.  I am going to use all Dollar Tree items.  I shared my DIY placemat planter a couple of weeks ago, I’ll be using that.  Click here to go watch the tutorial. HANGING PLANTER.

The supplies you will need:

  • placemat (Dollar Tree)
  • stems of your choice (Dollar Tree)
  • Easter bunny ears headband (Dollar Tree)

Follow my video tutorial to make the planter.  DIY PLACEMAT PLANTER

Bend your stems to fit inside your planter.  Starting with the greenery, I am using one bundle of the seeded grass.

Do the same with your blossom stems.  I am using two bundles.

Adding the smaller flowers to the front of your planter.  I used two – three bundles; I had the baby’s breath on hand.

To give my planter an Easter touch, I am using Dollar Tree’s Easter bunny ears headband.

Tucking the headband to one side of the planter, making sure the headband part is hidden in the planter.

Hang it in your home and enjoy!

Such an easy Easter decoration to make for your home and under $10 to boot!

  1. Terrie how cute is this? I love how versatile it is and the spring flowers are just beautiful. But the crown jewel on the whole hanger for me was the bunny ears! LOVE this project!
