Well, are you ready for the Christmas activities you have been planning for several weeks?
Here at the Tip’s household, we have been battling the flu the past week. We are on the mends and have so much to get done before Christmas day.
While I shared with you the best view blog post for 2024, I thought I would end the year with what you can expect here for 2025.
I plan to keep the projects up with transferring our home into a more cohesive feel and look.
First project: Front Entryway
Back in 2020, I joined in on the $100 Room Challenge to give our front entryway a new look by adding board and batten. If you hadn’t read my challenge on the room you can view it all here. DIY BOARD & BATTEN.
Here is what the room looked like before:
After!
And now.
In this room, I will be adding more welcoming details.
Second Project: The Guest Bathroom
This will be a small task, which will involve also warming up the space with texture and paint.
Third and depending on budget.
My last project for 2025: The Family Room
I will be focusing on the wooden furniture. Some pieces are in need of refinishing or painting. This should bring a fresh new look to the space.
Along with these three rooms, I will be working on some DIYs, crafting and taking you shopping at thrift stores and retail stores with me.
Until then, I want to wish you and your family the warmest holiday wishes ever! Thank you for an exceptional year! I couldn’t have had done it without each one of you sweet followers.
Lots of love!
Stay strong and may God bless you! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
I love what you’ve done so far. Following packing up Christmas decor, I brought out my Snowmen tub. They are so cheerful, make me smile. Having major surgery in couple of weeks. So will enjoy them.
Hope you and Jim have recovered completely. ♥️
Yay – can’t wait to see your projects! Happy New Year!
