Before I take you into our Master bedroom I would like to update you with things that happened to Decorate and More with Tip the last two weeks.

My personal Facebook page “TerrieTipler” was hacked, my page was suspended for review until they could resolve the issue.  In the meantime they removed me from administer on my Facebook blogging page, Decorate and More with Tip-Terrie (where I share my daily post and blog updates).  Since I was the only person listed as administer my blogging page was open for easy access for a hacker to take over,  which happened, it is now being ran by a person from Switzerland, posting weird videos on the page.  Please unfollow Decorate and More with Tip-Terrie so the videos will stop posting on your feed.  I have a new page Decorate and More with Tip Blog, I will continue where I left off with my daily post, blog update and video tutorials.

Another problem this hacker caused me was with my Instagram account, it has also been deleted because the two social media was connected.  I have a new account on Instagram Decorateandmorewithtipblog.  I hope you continue to follow me on both new accounts.  Sorry for the inconvenience, it has been a crazy 2 weeks around here things are slowly getting back to normal. 🙂

Now back to today’s blog post.

Even when I really like something I still want to change it.  Do you ever feel like this?  Back in 2017 I changed the look of our furniture by painting the basic oak furniture white, it became my favorite room in our home.  For the bedding I do change that often, as the seasons changes so does the bedding.

A couple of weeks ago our daughter, Kristin and I swapped out our mirrors.  My bedroom mirror went into her guest bathroom and her bathroom mirror went into our Master bedroom.  I gave it a little makeover and will keep it up on the dresser until I find a mirror to replace it.

Added the wooden dough bowl to the top of the dresser inside the bowl I placed a wooden beaded prayer garland and greenery inside.

I changed the location of my two frames next to the dresser.

When cleaning out one of our closet I found an accordion coat hook.  Gosh.. this had to been in the closet for sometime now, I remember having this back in our previous home 20 years ago.  I dusted it off and added fresh stain to it and attached it to the wall.

On top of the armoire I added my Kirkland’s tray and placed a few items on the tray.

Above the chest of drawers I placed my repurposed frame.  I honestly love how this project turned out.

Searching for new bedding is always fun for me.  First is finding the inspirational piece and building from there.

I found this perfect duvet with matching pillow shams for my inspiration, it has all the colors I wanted and the medallion design brings a Boho vibe to the room.

I took the matching shams and made throw pillows out of them.  You can check out the tutorial here → EASY PILLOW COVER TUTORIAL.

The navy fringed pillow gives a bold statement to the bed and it highlights the dark color in the bedding.

I love how the lavender euro shams blends the wall decals and bedding together.

I still have a few pieces to add to the room before I can say the room is complete,  I am happy with it so far.
