As fall decorating comes into full swing, I like to cozy up our main bedroom.
To help me feel relaxed during the chilly evenings, decorating our bedroom not only elevate our home but also my mood.
Welcome back to Decorate with Us – Fall season 2024, Tammy over Patina and Paint and I have been sharing how we decorate our homes for Fall. Today, we are sharing our Master bedrooms all decorated for Fall. I will have Tammy’s link down at the end of my post.
Below are 3 easy tips on how you can make your bedroom a warm and cozy space to enjoy through the cooler fall nights.
How to Create a Cozy Fall Bedroom
Tip #1 – Lighting
To create a cozy fall bedroom doesn’t always mean bringing out the pumpkins or fall leaves, it could be as simple as adding a season candle or changing out your cooler white light bulb to a warmer LED light bulb.
Lighting plays a crucial role in creating ambiance and setting the mood in a space, especially in a cozy fall bedroom. Adding warm, soft lighting options like table lamps or candles helps to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
Tip #2 – Layer Cozy Textiles
One of the easiest and most effective changes you can make when it comes to fall decor in the bedroom is to layer lots of cozy textiles.
Whether you want to give your space a seasonal change, or just have a cozier feel in your bedroom, there’s a way to embrace the colors and textures of this fall season.
The bedding you used in your bedroom can transform to a warmer and cozier space. First, swap out lightweight summer bedding for warmer, cozier, textured bedding, such as flannel or velvet bedding in warm, earthy, fall colors.
Tip #3 – Last Tip – Add Fall Decor
Our fall bedroom wouldn’t be complete without a touch of fall foliage or pumpkins! These fall elements add a warm feel and beauty to our room and reminds me the changing of the season.
Adding a dose of fall to your bedroom through pumpkins, florals, and deep hues of burnt orange can create a relaxing and comforting ambiance. I didn’t overpower our bedroom with a bunch of fall decor, I placed a few pumpkins here and there and changed out my florals with fall stems. Swapped out my bedding with my orange duvet using the quilt and knitted blanket with it. Placing a ttheme pillow to the bed gave the bed the exact touch of fall.
You can easily make your bedroom feel more like fall with a few minor tweaks. Consider swapping out your light bulbs to a warmer tone and layer on extra throw blankets and throw pillows for creating a cozy ambiance. Lastly, don’t overlook the chance to decorate with cute pumpkins and seasonal florals.
Embrace the season and enjoy the warmth and comfort of your fall-inspired bedroom!

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Wow! Your bedroom says fall better than any bedroom I’ve seen!!!! Great job I love how warm and cozy everything is.
Thanks Tammy. I was down a little because I wanted “new” bedding, but am happy I saved money and used what I already had. I love the feel and look of the space.
