Hello Friends! Welcome back to all my Decorate & More family. If you are visiting for the first time, thank you so much and I hope you will continue to come visit me. I am so glad you stopped by and hope you enjoy your visit!
How was your weekend? I did get started with some of the garage sale preparation. I sure hope we get one more warm weekend for our garage sale. I don’t mind the cooler weather, I just hope it doesn’t rain.
Raise your hand if you agree with me not liking the days being cut shorter. I know that means getting closer to the holidays, but I just like having a few hours of day light after coming home from work so I can take a walk or work around the yard. Soon it will be dark by the time I come home from work.
Today I want to share with you 3 simple vignettes. Doing this I will use the same base decor pieces moving them around and only changing up the “object” pieces. I will be decorating my fireplace mantle for the vignette. If you do not have a mantle, no problem! You can easily apply your vignette to any flat surface, for example an entry table. Remember the little work sheet I posted on the Vignette Round UP on how to add dimension to your decor? If you are visiting me for the first time go read my Vignette Round Up blog HERE. You will want to keep that same concept.
Let’s get started
Vignette #1
I love my candle holders that I purchased at Kirkland’s. They could be used anywhere in the home. I bought them to use in our master bathroom (how I styled them HERE). Don’t they look fantastic on my mantle too? My clock I also purchased at Kirkland’s. They are still in stock online at Kirkland’s.
Above I used both sets of candle holders, placing 2 with faux boxwood spheres (purchased at Hobby Lobby). The different heights give the setting dimension. You do not always have to place candles on a candle holder. You could even leave the candle holder bare on top. I placed the birds and books to the center to fill in the gap between the candle holders. That also has some dimension.
Vignette #2
On this vignette I changed the place setting of the candle holders. I placed only two on one side and the other side I placed the other four. I added two votive candle holders and replaced the birds and books with a decorative bowl filled with faux grass. Keeping the candles and only using one of the spheres on the candle holders.
Changing up the candle holders and replacing the “objects” of the setting gives it a new and fresh look.
Vignette #3
The last setting: I used only the four larger candle holders. I placed two on each side of the clock. Placed a flower arrangement and added back the books and birds.
As you can see above all three looks were created with a few different objects and moving the candle holders around.
Which one would you say is your favorite? I am having a hard time placing them back into my master bathroom because they look so nice on my mantle.
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your visits. I hope you continue to come back!
If you would please spread your love by sharing my blog with a friend or two. I would love for my D & M family to grow as large as possible.
Have a good week, my friends!
Stay strong and stay blessed!

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Three out of three isn’t bad…They all look great…!! I have to say #1 is my fav. For some reason I (personal preference) would prefer more wood accents in place of the green. Keep doing what you’re doing…enjoy them all. I posted this before but for some reason it isn’t showing up.
Hey there Lucy! When you say “wood instead of green” what would you use instead of the boxwood spheres? Like always I love your input. Always room for more options! Thanks for your comments.

I prefer #1 because I love symmetry. To me, it’s very pleasing to the eye that way. Good job!
Thank you Becky. I agree that #1 is more even and probably would styled more like that than the other two. Thank you so much for commenting.
Always,
Terrie
