I have all my decorations down from the storage area and am ready to start the next few weeks decorating and sharing my style with you. Starting my decorating early allows me to share inspiration with you so if there is something you like here you have plenty of time to create it in your Christmas home when you are ready.
If I was told I could only use one accessory to decorate a room it would have to be throw pillows. It is the simplest way to create a look without any hard work. Let’s face it, decorating for Christmas can be overwhelming. But yet we look forward to it each and every year.
Normally the first thing I do when decorate for any season I pick a color palette. Once that has been decided I start looking for throw pillows, it only takes one pillow to start the decorating juices flowing. This year for our Family room I found the inspirational pillow on Amazon. Amazon is a great place to shop for throw pillows, they have variety styles and colors. It is probably one of my favorite place to shop.
The colors on my inspirational pillow are different than my normal Christmas color palette, I think the colors will be a lot of fun to decorate the room with and a little challenging.

I searched through all of my pillow covers pulling out all the ones I think would coordinate with the inspirational pillow, not sure if I will use all of the pillows I gathered but I pulled them just in case.

I always have fun with pillows. You don’t have to deck the halls with a lot of holiday decorations, all you have to do is add a seasonal pillow or two.

I must admit, I am a pillow-a-holic! There is nothing better than a “wardrobe” of throw pillows to decorate with! I swear you can find ANYTHING on Amazon! Have fun decorating Terrie, I just can’t pull the trigger until December {late I know!}
I never thought I was until I looked at all I have. Gosh why do I have so many and I am still collecting. ha! Yes….Amazon is a great place to shop in your PJs too!
Love those! I think I’ll be buying chose number 1 – they will match my living room Christmas colors… I think. Still on the fence. Love your color choses and I agree – pillows are fun and an easy way to decorate!
