Fall Back Entryway/Laundry Room Inspiration
This is my last space I am decorating for Fall this year! It is another entryway for family and friends to come into our home. It actually is my laundry room. Since it gets a lot of traffic, I like to keep it clean and welcoming.
Niki over at Life of a Leo Wife will also be sharing how she decorated her laundry room, I will have her link below.
For the Fall months our laundry room is decorated for Fall like the other rooms in our home. In this room I decorated with bits and pieces I had left from decorating the rest of our home. I think I pulled it all together, don’t you?
Shelf and Bench Wall
The main wall is always the first space I decorate in the room. To the shelf I keep my wooden grid panel up and build from that.
As a focal piece of the shelf, I sat hello fall cutout in the center.
On each end I placed items with height, one side a frame and the other a vase arrangement. The frame I purchased this year in Beall’s department store. I sat two small faux pumpkins with it.
Opposite side of the shelf I hung a little blessing tag on a small nail and sat a cloth plaid pumpkin on the shelf.
Hanging a welcome Fall frame on the wall in hopes it will keep the eyes from noticing the light switches and security system controller board.
Decorating the bench area with pretty pillows and flower stuffed rainboots.
I purchased two bundles of yellow stems off of Amazon, 6 stems in each boot. The pillows were also ordered from Amazon. Pumpkin pillow and Green Pillow.
Other Room Decor
Turning the corner to my DIY blue buffalo plaid wall, I hung a seasonal frame. I purchased this from my friend Corine, years ago when she used to have a shop.
On top of the washer and dryer, I kept it very simple. I sat a fall arrangement in place of the greenery plant that normally sits on the tray, tucking in a few bundles of Dollar Tree orange flowers into a vase.
Adding a few Fall decorations on my small countertop as well. I first hung the picture up over the counter. The picture was purchased in Kirkland’s, again years ago.
To hide the plug-in the dryer is hooked into, I created an autumn pail with some fall pumpkin picks inside along with my wooden clothes pins.
To the large glass canisters, I added small pumpkins I purchased a couple years ago in Kirkland’s.
One last place to decorate is the wall with my laundry setting. I placed a beaded pumpkin I found in Dollar General two years ago after season for 90% off.
I added more greenery, a bow and berries to it and hung it inside the wooden frame.
Well, that is it for my Fall decorating 2023! I hope you enjoyed my Fall season of Decorate with me and was inspired by something I did. Wednesday I will be sharing our Fall home tour, please come back for that!

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
