For my friends that doesn’t want to make one, here is one similar to the one I am sharing. FUZZY BUNNY WREATH.
First step is to take the tinsel rabbit and remove all the garland. It’s really easy to remove. Just snip a place and start unraveling. Remove the ear pieces.
I snipped the ears off of the head.
Now take the two wreaths and the ears and attach them together with floral wire.
Making the fur for the bunny. [poms]
- Take the Charcoal yarn, scrap yarn and scissors
- Wrap the Chenille yarn around your hand about 4 times.
Cut the chenille yarn. Take a piece of your scrap yarn and tie in the center of your rolled up yarn.
- Cut all the loops.
- This is what your poms should look like.
Make 25 of the poms.
Start hot gluing the poms to the front of the two willow wreaths. I started with the body and worked my way up to the head.
Making the smaller poms for the ears.
- Taking a 6 inch piece of the chenille yarn and making a S shape.
- cut and bundle the yarn together. Tie it with a piece of your scrap yarn and cut the loops. Making 24 smaller poms.
Start hot gluing the poms to the outer part of the ear frame.
Taking your pink Chenille yarn and making 6 small poms. 3 per ear.
Hot glue the pink to the inside frame.
Taking the pre-made bunny tail and remove the clip and hot glue it to your bunny wreath where you want the tail to be.
I made a bow out of wire ribbon and hot glue it to the bunny’s neck.
Now the messy part…..Shake your bunny to get all the loose chenille pieces off your bunny.
We are done! Isn’t this just adorable?

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
On my post I linked up where I purchased everything. I got the bunny tinsel head at the Dollar Tree. I was there today and they had several left.
That bunny looks right at home in your entry. Very creative!
