Decorating for Christmas seems to be on everyone’s mind right now or at least it is on mine. I have all my plans on paper and in my head, all the things to do scheduled, however, I find myself double guessing myself. Which is never a good thing. For example, my coffee table, I had it all planned out on paper but when I started decorating it just didn’t capture the theme of the room. So here is what I came up with instead.
Christmas Coffee Table Decor Idea
To create a holiday coffee table that feels both timeless and festive, start with a Christmas arrangement, I used one Christmas spray and three little Christmas picks to form the arrangement. I placed them all together and in a vase. As simple as what I typed. No fussing at all besides holding the four picks in your hand while finding the vase I wanted to use.
You will see a lot of Christmas greenery and berries in our Christmas home this year. The coffee table should tell the theme of the room.
I added two brass candlesticks to add a classic and romantic feel to the table. The candles I made from one tall, tapered candle, with a hot knife I cut the candle in half to create two shorter candles. It made the perfect size candle for each of my candlesticks.
Regardless of what the look you’re going for, a pinecone or two is the easiest way to add a splash of modern-rustic charm to any holiday decor.
Addition to the pinecones I added a garland of large wooden beads. The wooden beads add a touch of warmth and texture to the table. I placed the beads on the edge of the bowl spilling out onto the tabletop.
Adding the small Christmas tree brought just the right amount of charm to the coffee table.
When styling your coffee table for the holidays, start with a functional centerpiece, some candlelight, some texture and warmth and lastly a themed items for a festive touch.
