I am ready to decorate our guest bedrooms in a festive and cozy way! I love creating festive spaces with Christmas themes. In our guest bedrooms I changed just a few small details and layered bedding to create two wonderful and comfy spaces.
Welcome to the last week of Decorate with Us | Christmas Season 2024. Tammy, Patina and Paint and Teresa, Through a Vintage Door will be joining me all this week as we share our last few rooms. I will have both of their guest bedrooms at the bottom of my page.
CHRISTMAS GUEST BEDROOM #1
Nothing says Christmas cozy more than pretty layers of red and plaid. I love the festive vibes of red against the white bedding. I started with pillows by adding red pillow shams, red polka dotted 20″ x 20″ throw pillows and a merry Christmas oblong pillow. The red pillows are the perfect amount of red to accent the white bedding.

What could be more Christmassy than plaid? I have to tell you a little secret, what looks like a comforter isn’t. I folded up my everyday comforter and created a sleeve out of an extra-long tablecloth. I added buttons to the end to keep the tablecloth closed.
Doesn’t the plaid add some whimsey and contrast to the bed?
Inspirational PLAID DUVET
I kept the basket tray on the bed, added a Christmas arrangement and Christmas beads inside.
To the corner I added two sprays into the vase to give it a small touch of Christmas. To add character to the nightstand would be Santa.
There you have it, the theme of my Christmas home. A small touch of nutcrackers!
This cute little Christmas corner got all dressed up with red and white and a festive red ribbon.
Another corner has been touched with Christmas. A Christmas pillow was a simple touch.
A look at the room from the door, yes, there is a white elephant in the room. Mr. Tip’s inversion table. As much as I hate it there, it is a necessary item in the room.
GUEST BEDROOM #2
Just a swap of the accent pillow is all I did on the bed.

I changed out the stems in the vases with Christmas stems.
Changing out frames as well.
So, get those bedrooms ready for all the cozy nights ahead and add a little Christmas spirit for your guests to enjoy.
I will have a video of me decorating our guest bedrooms later tonight on my social media.

Stay strong and God bless! ♥
Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
