FALL SOFA TABLE STYLING IDEAS

Hey everyone, welcome back to my fall decorating season.  I am bringing you into our family room to share how I decorated my sofa table, chest of drawers and top of a small cabinet along with the wall next to the cabinet.  I hope you find something inspiring in today’s post.

To check out me styling the three spaces you can go to my Facebook page or my YouTube channel to watch the video.

Starting with the sofa table that sits behind the sofa. This wall is the first thing you see when walking into the room from the kitchen.  I am keeping it the same.

I recently changed up the wall decor to create a warm and cozy feel to the room.

To one end of the table I added this Hobby Lobby earth tone two handle vase, I purchased the first of the year.

I placed a smaller Hobby Lobby terracotta vase next to the vase.  The two vases complement each other and fill this side of the table nicely.

To the taller vase I added 2 Hobby Lobby acorn spray and a bare twig branch.

To the other side of the table I added back the 2 Amazon seagrass baskets, stacking one on top of the other.

The texture of the baskets adds warmth and personality making the space feel more inviting and cohesive.  On top of the baskets, I placed a faux dark orange pumpkin I painted to add a richness to the overall look.

I love how this brought that cozy seasonal feel to the back of our sofa wall.

Moving over to the gun cabinet wall.  This is another space that I refreshed this year.

I kept the vase sitting on the top of the cabinet but changed the stems out with 2 Hobby Lobby fig berry stems.

I formed them to hang over to one side of the cabinet to create a bold statement.

To the opposite side of the cabinet, I sat an empty vase.  This gives the setting texture and a visual interest.

I placed one of a set of 3 Temu faux books for a riser to sit my Amazon black iron 2 tapered candlestick on.  I placed 2 orange battery operated candle to the candlestick.

When using fall orange to ensure it doesn’t become too overpowering, incorporate neutral tones such as I did with the two pumpkins.  It will create a more balanced look.

Now let’s focus on the small wall besides the cabinet.

I changed up my two large black square frames for two of the four thrift store frames I found earlier this year in Goodwill.  I am finally using those frames.  The frames needed a little makeover before I can use them.

I took apart the frame changed out the print with one of my Amazon gallery fall prints that I ordered a set of.

I painted the frames with metallic gold spray paint and outlined the inner frame with high gloss black paint.

          v

I added the two frames up on the wall.

To the vase I swapped out the greenery for fall red eucalyptus stems  and a small orange pumpkin.

For the final space is my chest of drawers with my arched framed mirror.

The lamp is a staple piece; it will stay on the chest.  Behind the lamp leaning on the mirror, I placed another digital print I found off of Etsy.  The name, Fall Foliage Painting, by Springwell Arts.  I placed it in a frame already had.

The print has beautiful autumn colors with a cozy seasonal landscape in blues, browns, burnt orange and a hint of gold.

To the other side I added fall stems to the Kirkland’s vase (which is no longer available).  I placed a bundle of faux grass in the vase for a base for my flowers to stick in.  Then 4 Hobby Lobby burnt orange raffia heather sprays.

Next to the vase I stacked two Amazon Coffee table books, Made for Living and The Art of Home.

On top of the books I sat two Dollar General wooden candle holders with 2 Amazon three inch battery operated pillar candles.

Lastly, I added a frame on an easel.  The adjustable easel I found in the AtHome store.  With another Amazon gallery fall print set.  I found the frame in a thrift store and place the print inside.

I sat the easel with the frame in front of the larger landscaping print, if you notice the taller frame creates the depth and dimension with all the colors making the smaller frame stand out more.

It allows the smaller frame to be the focal point.

I feel like all 3 spaces compliments each other so well.

This will wrap up today’s decorate with me here in the family room.  I love changing out my decor throughout the seasons and I hope you enjoyed watching me decorate the three spaces and find some ideas you can bring into your own home.  Le me know down in the comments what styled, or DIY was your favorite, I love reading what you all think.

Tomorrow I will be sharing how I styled my coffee table and a few end tables, I hope to see you here!
