I know, bunnies?  It’s all in fun, I am joining in with my friends doing a Pinterest Challenge.  We took a Pinterest Pin from Kayla – Live Oak Nest and sharing how we recreated it to fit into our homes.

I love scrolling through Pinterest to gather inspiration for our home, this allows us to style our home with ease.  The girls and I will all recreate the same Pinterest Pin to show you how one Pin can be done in your style.

Here is Kayla’s Pinterest Pin we are going to recreate.

A breakdown of what she used:

  • A tray
  • Two Bunnies
  • Vase
  • Flower stems
  • Books
  • Ribbon

How to recreate an inspirational photo

Gathering items similar to the inspirational photo you would like to use to recreate the look.

  • A round tray
  • Vase
  • Flower stems
  • Two brown bunnies
  • Ribbon
  • Easter frame
  • Candle

Starting with the tray –

The inspirational photo has a rectangle platform tray, for mine I am using my round wooden handle tray.

The vase –

When recreating a setting, use items with the same height and shape this will give the same look as the inspirational photo but allows you to add your own personality to a vignette.

I am using a robin egg blue vase.

Bunnies –

Adding a main theme to the setting, like the inspirational photo I placed my all-time favorite bunnies.  I found them on Amazon.  Bashful and Hopper Bunnies

The detailing is amazing on the bunnies.

Adding ribbon –

Instead of the soft pink ribbon, I gave my grey ribbon a frayed edge.

The Books –

In the inspirational tray, books were stood next to the vase.  For my tray I am using an Easter frame along with a candle.

The frame takes the place of the books, the candle fills in the gap.

The Flower Stems –

I am in love with these Cosmo Sprays in Hobby Lobby.  They come in white, cream, beige and taupe.  Very pretty and realistic looking in the vase.  I will be purchasing more of the sprays; I love them that much.

It was a fun recreation to do, it could be a perfect centerpiece or a coffee table display.

I hope this gave you some fun inspiration for your own home. Be sure to watch for more Pinterest Challenge in the near future.
