DIY NAPKIN RINGS

Hello friends!

It’s time for another DIY, isn’t it?  I am adding some spring touches to my kitchen.  If you follow me you know that I like to do a few DIY to help keep it budget friendly when decorating my home.

The DIY today will be napkin rings.  To add a little spring to my table I thought I would make a napkin ring with some greenery.  These are very easy to make.

Here are the supplies I will be using.

  • 4 Dollar Tree napkin rings
  • greenery
  • twine
  • hot glue
  • hot glue gun
  • scissors

Let’s get started!

I will be wrapping the napkin ring with twine.  I cut a long piece of twine making sure I would have plenty to cover the whole napkin ring.

I added some hot glue to the napkin ring and attached the end of the twine to the ring.  Please be careful not to burn yourself with the hot glue.

I just wrapped the twine from inside to outside of the napkin ring gluing a few times to keep the twine in place.

When I got to the end I applied some hot glue and cut the twine.

I wrapped 4 napkin rings with the twine.

I am using a topiary ball that fell apart.

I took a couple pieces and used the scissors to cut the cluster apart.

I applied a drop of hot glue to the napkin ring.

Taking single pieces of the greenery and placing them on the napkin ring.

I kept layering the greenery and glue until I got to the size I wanted.

I did that to all 4 napkin rings.

This wasn’t difficult at all and took less than an hour to make all 4 napkin rings.  You can use any type of greenery or even flowers.  I love how they turned out and will look pretty with any type of place setting.
