We are almost finished with the kitchen, the only space we need to decorate are our kitchen countertops! I will have Tammy Patina and Paint’s countertop’s link at the bottom of my page.
Christmas kitchen decorating ideas should resemble your spirit of Christmas or a little bit of your spirit! I love adding touches of Christmas decor to my kitchen, let me share how I styled them this Christmas!
HOW TO DECORATE YOUR KITCHEN FOR CHRISTMAS
Upper Cabinets
Upper cabinet seems to be the number one area that most people focus their Christmas kitchen decorating on. I have seen ribbon and wreaths used for decorating cabinets; all are very pretty.
I have a corner cabinet with a glass door, I like to add pops of Christmas too. It sets the theme for this part of my kitchen.
I gathered all my red and white polka dot dishes; it makes a nice pop in the dark cabinet. This will be a nice theme to start decorating the countertops.
I love to add seasonal decor pieces on my DIY Shaker Peg Rack, with seasonal towels, colorful potholders and a seasonal decor hanging from one of the pegs.
I kept with the same color theme as the corner cabinet to keep it flowing nicely.
Countertops
Our kitchen counters are a great size for prep space.
If you are a person who likes to only keep functional items out on your countertops, nothing says you can’t add small Christmas trees or small accents of Christmas to or around it!
Just add a cute little cup to a glass canister makes a cute decoration in itself!
To the sink area, I keep in mind to keep room around the sink area for dirty dishes.
Near the sink I like to keep seasonal soap and lotions sitting out, to protect my countertops from the soapy mess I like to use a tray. This is a simple way to corral your soaps and keep the soap from staining your counters.
I like adding a seasonal mug to the Keurig. It’s those simple things that can add some festivity to your space.
A simple way to decorate your Keurig would be sit a seasonal mug and there you go!
I love keeping our daily items on my double tray that rotates. This keeps the items in one place and easy to reach, plus easy to remove when cleaning your countertops.
I hope some of these ideas have been helpful as you seek to get some fast Christmas kitchen decorating ideas!

Decorating our home on a budget is my thrill. I think a home can look beautiful without breaking the bank. Your home should bring the best out of you and make you feel happy. You should smile every time you enter your home. 🙂
Hey, Love your kitchen counters for Christmas. I love the little christmas trees that you put your chocolate chips and marshmallows in. Do you recall where you got those? I have a large one that I found at a thrift store but I would love to add these small ones to my hot chocolate bar. I enjoy all the things that you do in your home, you’re so talented. Thanks,
I found them in Walmart years ago. I hope you find them, if I see any I will let you know where. Thanks Pearline!
So beautiful! I’m definitely going to be on the look out for some Christmas rugs for the floor! Love! Your corner cabinet is perfect with all the red. Just too many fun things to choose from.
I hope you find some to fit your Christmas kitchen. These rugs has been with me very several years. I do love them. Thanks Tammy!
