Fancy reindeer dancing in a ring of sparkles and greenery.  Golden Christmas trees standing tall underneath candlelight.  You will find all these things on my dining room table.

I am so happy to be joining my super talented friend this Christmas season, Tammy, from Patina and Paint will be sharing her Christmas table as well! Be sure to scroll down to the end of my page to see her table she has created!

My Christmas table all started when I was shopping in Roses Discount store and found the gold metal lantern. I began to envision soft color pink, gold and mercury glass coming together to create an elegant Christmas table.

Right away I gathered together most of my Christmas decorations I had along with the newly purchased lantern and started putting together my centerpiece.

My Christmas Dining Room Table

First, I placed a soft pink runner with beautiful snowflake details at each end for the table covering.  I found the runner in Tj Maxx several years ago.

Placing an artificial pine and pinecone garland shaped in an oval to the center of the table. To dress it up I stuck flocked stems and lamb’s tongue stems to the garland. I found the stems in Dollar General, wrapped a strand of fairy lights as well to the garland.

Centering my golden lantern into the garland, placed it on a glass cake stand to make it stand taller.  To hide the cake stand I formed a small wreath with the same garland.  (Battery operated candle)

To each side of the lantern, I used a cream and gold reindeer, gold mercury glass Christmas tree and an off-white candle in a rose gold candle stick.

A couple years ago I decorated with soft pink for Christmas, but this year it looks richer with the mercury glass and gold.

The last two items I am using are my gold charger plates, the pattern edge mimics the mercury glass Christmas trees in the centerpiece.

On the chargers I placed my gold trim white napkins and pink and jewel snowflake napkin rings.  I purchased these in Pier1 a long time ago.  I love how they match the snowflakes in the table runner.

For a more decorative place setting, by using the gold charger brought a little glam to the table.  With the napkin, folding it into a bow with the jewel snowflake, fills the charger quite nicely.

This color palette in the dining room is a little softer and more elegant than the rest of the rooms I decorated for Christmas, but I love how it all came together.

Thanks Tammy, I was running out of red Christmas decor and thought I would the softer color in my color theme for the main color. So happy with the outcome.
