I am happy you are here for this blog post.  We are taking a day to share different ways we decorate our favorite item or items in our homes.  My friend, Tammy Patina and Paint will be joining me, I will have her links at the bottom of my page.

If you have been following my Decorate with Me | Christmas Season 2023, you probably already know what I have been using a lot of!  If you guessed REINDEER, you would be correct.

These are just a few of my reindeer collection, I don’t hunt for them when shopping, if I see a cute one, I pick it up.  Most of them are not the way I purchased them, you know me by now, if I want them a different color, I don’t have a problem painting them.

Let me get started walking you through each room to share how I styled my reindeer!

Guest Bathroom

In the guest bathroom, I am using one of my Dollar General brass reindeer.  I purchased several of this last year.  If you hadn’t seen what they looked like here is what they looked like before I started decorating them this year.

I removed the star and painted the deer with flat black, added a burgundy velvet bow around his neck.

This space had no pop of color until I added the reindeer.  I just love how the corner of the vanity looks now.

Half Bathroom

Another set of the Dollar General brass reindeer.  I spray painted these two with bronze spray paint and rubbed a little off to give it a two-tone effect.  I added a pretty velvet bow around their next to add a pop of color.  Since I decorated the vanity I added the Christmas tree, it complements the theme of the room.

Master Bedroom

I would say our master bedroom’s theme would be snowflakes, but I added a couple reindeer to the nightstands.

A perfect little accent to place on a nightstand, this comfy little resin deer fits perfect nestled under the tree.

On Mr. Tip’s nightstand I placed his partner, I should have put him on my side since he is like me and can’t sleep. 🙂

Family Room

TV Console

On the TV console I have to be careful decorating it with items because of the remote eye.  I added three Hobby Lobby Christmas trees to the corner.  To the other side with the remote eye, I placed my cake candle on top of a candleholder inside a candle wreath.  That gave it a little width and height to the space, I added another Dollar General deer sprayed painted bronze.  I kept the saddle on him, the grey ties in the baskets and carries the rug and brick of the fireplace color over to the dark corner.

Side Table

To one of my side tables, I placed a two-tone reindeer.

I placed a pretty frame with a winter theme pattern on the table along with a Christmas tree with pinecones.  Needed something to bring the gold and black in to give me the look I wanted.  This deer fills the space nicely with both colors.

Bookcase

To the bookshelf, I only added a small reindeer.

This is a metal reindeer with no details.  It has a place to fit a tealight for a little accent lighting.  Again, it isn’t the way I purchased him, it was silver when I bought him, last year I painted him red.

The Santa frame has a bit of dark color with the gold, so this little two-tone guy worked perfectly in this setting.

Sofa Table

Now to the newly purchase reindeer, I rushed to Aldi’s to buy.  These are Pottery Barn knockoffs.  Can’t believe I was able to get to the store to purchase these.  First, I will show you how I styled the larger of the three.

This is a heavy iron reindeer with no detailing, It has tall antlers and legs with a narrow body.  So adorable.  I placed him by himself on the sofa table.  He blends with the vase I used and tones down the red in the ribbon and berries in the bowl.  I love how he looks on the table.

Chest of Drawers

He was sold separately; I bought the other two sizes together.

I nestled the two in a bed of Christmas greenery.  They are the same type of style as the larger one, heavy metal and no detailing.  They could be use in any type of styling, from traditional, modern and even farmhouse.

I still have a couple more rooms to decorate, which I am sure you will see some reindeer popping in there as well.

I hope you take your favorite collection and enjoy decorating them this year.  Maybe I gave you different ideas to decorate your collection.

Make sure you jump over and see what Tammy is sharing.
