CHRISTMAS KITCHEN INSPIRATION

Hey friends! Welcome back to Decorate with Us | Christmas Season 2024. Today, we will be sharing the rest of our kitchens.  I will have both Tammy Patina and Paint and Teresa Through a Vintage Doors kitchens at the end of my post.

This year I decided to keep the countertops simple and focus on the upper cabinets. I added flocked garland on top of the cabinets and decorated it as the decorations in the kitchen nook.

Let me share with you how I styled my countertops this year for Christmas!

I shared my shaker peg rack yesterday on my social media.

The perfect wall to have this rack to hang interesting decor items off of, mostly my cutting boards and this basket to hold seasonal items. It’s fun to customize this for any season or holiday.

I like to add a seasonal dish towel to the bowl of my mixer, it brings a pop of color to the plain silver bowl.

I found this wooden house cutting board this year and thought it would be a good addition to my cutting boards that normally is placed there.

I pulled out this Santa frame, I purchased from Home Interiors years ago, although it’s not a nutcracker, it has a toy soldier in the picture.

We use this small lamp as a night light, so I kept it on the counter as well, I tied a bow to give it a more festive look.

To the recipe book holder I placed a cookie cookbook, I am going to bake some the cookie recipes this year.

Moving to the end of my counter, I placed a sugar-coated gingerbread house I picked up at Beall’s this year.  To give it a little more frosting I added the berry tree I have had for several years.

Let’s move to the sink side of the kitchen.

Nothing different here besides changing it to a Christmas theme with a Christmas tree, Christmas dish towels and hand soap.

I add a seasonal mug to the Keurig, mostly to catch the drippings after using it.  I found this pretty festive mug in Big Lots.

Take a look at this little sleigh tray!  I had an old basket sleigh full of Christmas greenery that I fix up each year, this year I decided to remove the basket and add a piece of wood to create a riser.  What do you think?

Here is the nutcracker that is the theme color of the kitchen.  He is adorable, isn’t he?

Even if you don’t decorate your kitchen, I hope this post has inspired you to decorate your rooms you do.  I love the idea that something you’ve seen here has sparked some creativity and new ideas for you!

I have a video for you to watch of me decorating my kitchen countertops.
