DIY CABINET WREATH

First time for me to add a Christmas wreath to my corner kitchen cabinet.  It looks so cute there, not sure why I hadn’t placed one there before now.

I took a Dollar Tree wreath and some picks from Walmart to make this little wreath.  I’m sharing how simple it was to make.

Here are the supplies you will need to make one for your cabinet.

  • 15 inch Christmas wreath
  • five 97¢ Christmas picks
  • a pair of wire snips
  • a piece of ribbon

First Step

Fluff your wreath.  As you can tell my Dollar Tree wreath is more like a wreath form than a nice full wreath.

Second step

Adding the stems to the wreath.

Take two of the two green cypress and clip each one off the stem.

The wreath has a small branch and a long branch.

Using the smaller branch to bend over the stem to hold it onto the wreath.

Taking the glittery boxwood cutting off the stem the same way.

I bent the cut stem to avoid the leaves from pulling off.

I used the longer branches to hold the boxwood pieces to the wreath.

I was going to use both flocked pine pick, but I decided to just use one and place to one side of the wreath.

I cut each stem off the stem.

Attached them to the wreath with a few branches of the wreath.

HANG YOUR WREATH

Taking the length of the ribbon and placing it through the wreath and hang it on your cabinet.

    1. Thank you Michelle for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment. The wreath is really a form which I didn’t realize until I came home. It is the perfect size for a kitchen cabinet. It needed just a few fillers. I love how it looks. Thanks again for stopping by.
