Happy Thanksgiving Eve!  I finally am able to share with you my Christmas fireplace.  I always like to change my mantel up year after year for the holiday season.  I have to say this year the fireplace was the most fun and so easy to decorate.  Maybe because I had great material to work with.

My King of Christmas Flock Collection 

When I first received my King of Christmas collection 5 weeks ago I was so excited taking them out of the shipping box.  I have had flock garland, but not as high-quality as the King of Christmas artificial garland and trees.

I love my 4 piece set King flock collection  it is beautiful decorated or without decorations.

Let me share with you how I dressed my mantel and hearth this year.

I started with a clean space.  I kept my frame up on the mantel.

I placed one of my King of Christmas 3 foot flock Christmas trees in the center of the mantel.

Next I place the main items where I wanted them up on my mantel.

Look past the colors, I will change the look after I place it the way I want it styled.  (aka: my thrift store makeover sleigh last year).

Next is placing my King of Christmas flock garland.  I use large nails, which I have pre-drilled holes in my mantel to place the nails into every year.  I never have had luck with command hooks.

Take a look at how pretty the garland and tree looks.

Now that I figured out my main pieces I painted my little sleigh.

I added a sheet of snow to the mantel for a snowy look.

If you haven’t guessed it yet, my theme for the mantel is Santa getting the sleigh ready for the big night.  Since it is based on outside I decided to add icy twigs and a few sprigs of frosty lambs ear to the tree.

I added one cardinal bird to the tree in remembrance of my dad.  Our first Christmas without him.  He loved cardinal birds and the St. Louis Cardinal baseball team.

I added a bag of toys and packages to the sleigh.  I placed some battery operated lights to the sleigh as well.

I placed pine cones around the mantel.

Santa’s helper is bringing toys and candy canes up to place in his sleigh.  I found this cute little elf at Kirkland’s.  The ladder my dad made me several years ago.

I hung two Christmas stocking from the mantel.  I added a piece of ribbon to each stocking to give it a little cuter look.

On the hearth we are inside where it is nice and cozy.  Mrs. Claus is busy decorating the tree.  I placed the other King of Christmas flock 3 foot tree on the hearth and decorated it with red ornaments, berries and the same ribbon I used on the big tree.

I placed a little bow on the burlap tree skirt.

Next to the tree I placed Mrs. Claus with an ornament in her hand.

On the other side of the hearth I added my lighted packages I purchased years ago from Kirkland’s.
